Terms & Conditions of Participation
Participation in the competition is not dependent on any purchase. The prize is a two-week language course in Dublin for two people worth CHF 5,000. This includes half-day lessons, accommodation with a host family, (single room and half board) or in a student house (single room without board) and flights (departure airport in Switzerland can be chosen by the winner).
The prize can be redeemed until the end of 2019 and is provided by Baloise Insurance Ltd, Aeschengraben 21, 4002 Basel (hereinafter referred to as: “Baloise”). Competition entrants have qual chances of winning regardless of whether or not they make a purchase through Baloise.
The competition is open to all natural persons aged 16 to 29 who are resident in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. Entries must be submitted via the website www.baloise.ch/en/private-customers/youngo/language-school-competition. Only those who provide their personal details are eligible to enter the competition. Employees of the Baloise Group are excluded from the competition. By entering the competition, entrants agree to the following Terms & Conditions of Participation.
The closing date for entries is 24 March 2019 at 11.59 p.m. CET.
Winners will be informed directly. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize cannot be exchanged for any alternative and cannot be sent to an address in another country. Winners will be announced without any quarantee. The winner(s) is/are responsible for paying any tax due on the prize.
By participating in the competition, participants agree that their e-mail address will be stored and used by the Baloise Group company for statistical purposes as well as sending information on individually tailored products and services. Baloise confirms that participants’ data (personal details and e-mail address) will not be passed on to third parties outside the Baloise Group without their express prior consent, with the exception of our cooperation partner ESL. The winner of the competition is subject to an exception, as they give Baloise express permission to publish their name and home town. The participants’ consent forms the legal basis for this data processing. Participants may revoke their consent at any time. If you revoke your consent, this does not affect the legality of the processing undertaken on the basis of your consent up until the revocation.
To the extent that it is legally permissible, the organiser accepts no liability. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Baloise reserves the right to make changes to the competition as well as the Terms & Conditions of Participation at any time. This will have no effect on the winning requirements of chances of winning.
Your rights in relation to data protection:
Pursuant to the statutory requirements, participants have the right to information, correction, cancellation, and transferability, the right to request the restriction of the processing of their data by Baloise, and the right of appeal to the relevant supervisory authority.
