No. The merger is being prepared in stages and is expected to be legally completed on 5 December 2025, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals. In the first phase after the merger, Baloise and Helvetia will continue to provide their services independently under one roof. We will then launch our first shared products in the course of 2026.

Baloise and Helvetia will continue the history of the two companies as Helvetia Baloise (Helvetia Baloise Holding Ltd). Both names are anchored locally throughout Switzerland and enjoy a high level of trust.
The headquarters of Helvetia Baloise will be in Basel, which already hosts the headquarters of both Baloise and Helvetia Switzerland.
Helvetia Baloise will continue to be represented throughout Switzerland. We are proud of our local roots and, following the merger, aim to become even closer to our customers in future.
